Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect your information1. Who we are
Suite 136 ("we", "us", "our") is a UK-based business building a communications and booking assistant for independent beauty professionals. At this pre-launch stage, Suite 136 is operated by its founder ahead of formal company registration; this policy will be updated with full company details once Suite 136 is incorporated with Companies House.
For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at hello@suite136.beauty.
2. What we collect
Right now, Suite 136 collects information in two places: this website, and our waitlist form (hosted on Tally). We don't collect anything beyond what's listed below.
| Where | What we collect | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Waitlist form | First name, email address, Instagram/TikTok handle, service type, weekly booking volume, current booking method, city, and any answer you give to our open-text question | To let you know when early access opens, to understand who's interested, and — if you're a beauty professional — to consider you for early/beta access |
| Website | Basic, non-identifying analytics (see Cookies below) | To understand how many people visit and which pages are useful |
| Email replies | Whatever you tell us directly, if you reply to an email from us | To respond to you |
We do not currently collect payment details, ID documents, or any special category data (health, race, religion, etc.) through this site or the waitlist. If that changes when the product launches, this policy will be updated and you'll be told before anything changes for you.
3. Our legal basis for processing (UK GDPR)
- Legitimate interests — for basic site analytics and for maintaining the waitlist itself (Art. 6(1)(f))
- Consent — for any marketing or early-access communications we send you, which you opt into separately on the waitlist form (Art. 6(1)(a), and in line with PECR)
You can withdraw consent at any time — see Section 6.
4. How we use your information
- To add you to the Suite 136 waitlist and contact you about early access
- To understand demand and prioritise features based on what waitlist respondents tell us
- To invite selected beauty professionals to beta-test the product, if you've indicated interest
- To send occasional updates about Suite 136's progress, if you've opted in
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling that has a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We use a small number of service providers to run the waitlist and site, who process data on our behalf under their own data processing agreements:
- Tally — hosts and stores waitlist form submissions
- Vercel — hosts this website
We do not share your data with any other third party, and we do not permit these providers to use your data for their own purposes.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Ask what data we hold about you, and get a copy of it (right of access)
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete your data ("right to erasure") — we'll action this within 30 days
- Withdraw marketing consent at any time, without affecting any other processing
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you think we've mishandled your data
To exercise any of these, email hello@suite136.beauty — we'll respond within one month.
7. How long we keep it
Waitlist data is kept until Suite 136 launches and you either become a customer (in which case it moves into our live customer records, governed by an updated policy) or you ask to be removed. If Suite 136's launch doesn't go ahead, we'll delete all waitlist data within 12 months of that decision.
8. Where your data is stored
Data is stored with providers operating in the UK/EU or under approved international transfer safeguards (both Tally and Vercel provide standard contractual clauses for any transfers outside the UK/EEA).
9. Children
Suite 136 is intended for adults working in or running a beauty business. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
We'll update the date at the top of this page whenever this policy changes, and if a change is significant, we'll email anyone on the waitlist who's opted into updates.
Terms & Conditions
The rules for using this website and joining the waitlist1. Acceptance of these terms
By using suite136.beauty or submitting the waitlist form, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or submit the form.
2. What Suite 136 is, right now
Suite 136 is a product in development. This website is a pre-launch marketing site, and the waitlist is an expression of interest — it is not a purchase, a contract for services, or a guarantee of access. Joining the waitlist does not create any obligation for Suite 136 to provide you with the product, on any timeline, and does not create any obligation for you.
No payment is collected through this site or the waitlist form. Suite 136 will never ask for payment card details on this page.
3. Using this site
- You must be 18 or over to submit the waitlist form
- You agree to give accurate information on the waitlist form
- You won't use the site to submit false, misleading, or malicious content
- You won't attempt to disrupt, scrape at scale, or reverse-engineer the site
4. Intellectual property
The Suite 136 name, logo, brand assets, and all content on this site (text, design, imagery) are owned by Suite 136 and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.
5. No warranty
This site and its content are provided "as is." We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and the site available, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any described product features will be delivered exactly as described — Suite 136 is under active development and details may change.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Suite 136 is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or the waitlist. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so (for example, for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence).
7. Future product terms
When Suite 136 launches as a live product, separate Terms of Service governing the actual booking-assistant service (including any fees, service levels, and data processing as a data processor for your clients' bookings) will apply, and you'll be asked to accept them before using the product. These waitlist terms do not cover the live product.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
9. Changes
We may update these terms as the site and waitlist evolve. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
